How many of you have dreams and desires? How many desires do you have? I have more then 150…and you know what…I’ve had approximately that number of wishes for a few years and have changed them or altered or added according to their fulfillment. However, people like myself are a rare case. Many of us have never fulfilled our wishes. They have had those wishes for decades and yet haven’t accomplished them. Why is that? Why do some people have their dreams come true while others have nothing but disappointment? Let’s look at that closer.
Everyone, especially a female, has to have dreams. The more, the better. Dreams setup your life trajectory, your goals, your values and so on. Dreams motivate you and let you get up in the morning with pleasure and anticipation of a great day. If you don’t have dreams or desires you are probably depressed but that is a different topic. As I mentioned, the more dreams the better.
Who of you know that dreams come with responsibilities?
One wants a house, but doesn’t want to do anything to take care of it. One wants to have a child but isn’t ready to be a mom or a wife, one wants to have an expensive car but complains about fuel prices, one wants to travel but complains about the world situation, fare or weather changes and so on.
Dreams come with needing to take action and make sacrifices. If you want them to come true, you need to learn how to act in order to make it happen. So, everything has its price-you heard that right. So as dreams go, they don’t always mean that we need to “suffer” in order to get what we want and “payment” may refer to different forms: it may be money, time, dedication, inconvenience, actual work, patience, personal willingness to grow and many other forms that we often avoid. We think of them either as unimportant or hard and taking too much time because we get used to instant gratification. We allow ourselves to be lazy and “miss or pass on our dreams.”
Some give it 100% of what he or she has in order to get the dream come true.
So don’t think about pain and disaster when you hear me saying that a dream needs to be paid for…the form of payment could be a variety of things. When you are ready to pay, it shows the universe that you are ready to accept, ready to change for this dream, ready to grow or do anything else that needs to be done in order to have what you dream for. If you live in an apartment for now and it is small, do you think you are ready to live in a big house? Not sure! You may get lost in the house or get confused or something else…you need to “grow” inside and be really ready to walk into the house, take care of the house (way more things to do), and enjoy the house rather then start being “weird” owning the house. It is a different level of responsibility rather then being in an apartment where you don’t need to do anything compared to having a relationship with a manager incase you need something. As well as spending more money on maintenance. If you dream about having a baby, you need to be ready to go through everything that pregnancy will bring you. Challenges that you encounter when a child is here and pain from their sleepless nights or sicknesses or arguments, etc. You need to learn to accept and forgive before you think of having a child. If you are ready to pay, your dreams will be here very fast and soon. People who have everything they have ever dreamt of are normally going through a lot, but don’t talk about it. For them this is normal, that’s why they have what they have. They don’t have comfortable beds because they need to fly around the world for meetings to earn billions, wives are staying home with kids or juggling multiples manifestos, making schedules work while their successful husbands attend other matters. Or they need to move from one country to another and set up a new life style for a period of time while their husbands need to stay in the country.
If it is your own success, you may need to get up earlier then you are used to because you need to do numerous things before you leave to shine somewhere else. You may have sleepless nights because of a baby you wanted, you may lose all your friends because you have a successful life and old friends can’t take it and so on. All those are prices we pay, but after all of it there is a huge satisfaction of achievement when it comes to your dreams, as well as comfort, self-esteem and other great feelings that one may have. It will come with certain payment and what looks like pain now, but it won’t be painful in the long run! If you’re ready to commit to your dreams, it’s only a matter of time til they come true. Just relax, wait, and keep wanting it, continue to grow and change yourself internally getting ready for the day when you get what you want. If you’d ask me if there was a way to get there easier, I’ll tell you-yes there is. Leave your dreams alone and don’t do anything! Don’t change, don’t grow don’t make any sacrifices. You won’t have to sacrifice anything but you also won’t have a pleasure of experience. What you want to do is up to you. Just remember, every time you see someone’s success know that it took a lot of sacrifices, constant effort, work and so much more.
