I wrote an article on LOVE! Now, I’d like to add something to it.
This is something that I’ve learned over the years of my own marriage. There is not an ideal pattern for love. Never believe anyone when they say that there is an ideal pattern that you can follow. Do not try to follow somebody else’s dream. You should not compare your life with someone else’s.
Love is not just rose petals and hotel rooms on Valentine’s day. Love is not a fairy tale that finishes at a wedding. It’s a starting point that no one tells you about.
Love, more often than not, is very unfairytale-like.
Sometimes it’s ugly in a human way, but also very beautiful in a human way. Love lives in a strange unseen invisible world. Love is when your man takes your hair out of a shower drain without making a big deal out of it. It’s when he turns on your favorite music when you are in a bad mood or your favorite movie when you are sad trying to help cheer you up.
Love is when your man takes the children to play when you are tired and need some time alone. If you are sick and hanging over the toilet, he is the one who holds your hair and wipes your face. He tells you how much he loves your cooking even when you know it isn’t that good.
Love is when you are unfolded after delivery with a child on your breast and your husband is taking care of you and making sure that you are okay every step of the way.
You should feel on cloud nine when he is taking care of you.
Love is when you do not hide fear, happiness, anger, or any other emotion. It’s when you can watch a movie together, and cry or laugh together.
Love is when you are in a hurry running around and your husband helps you gather everything you need and makes life easier for you.
It’s all about respect and care. Those moments are true moments of love that make you warm and cozy. It’s never too much
Love is when you are waiting for him to come from work and then he walks through the door and you have instant happiness.
When he goes somewhere, you take his t-shirt and wear it all the time and sleep in it while he is not home. It’s when you constantly encourage him!
